Class B CDL

We are seeking a Class B CDL Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of about 10-12,000 pounds of product.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy box or semi-truck
• Properly track and record shipment when delivering products
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch immediately
• Inspect truck before and after trip

Qualifications:

Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Commercial Driver's License
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Be courteous and kind to all customers

Class A CDL

Forklift Operator

Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Checking loads are secure
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Dumping materials into machine hoppers

Qualification requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean & safe environment
• May be required to use RF scanner gun
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards

 

Customer Service Representative

Essential duties and responsibilities

We are looking for a talented Customer Service Representative to join our family at Hillcrest Foodservice! We are in need of a talented, organized, and goal driven individual to help better our Customer Service Department. At hillcrest, we are dedicated to helping one another succeed. Offering oustanding service and supporting Local Independents througout Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Receive email requests from sales team.
• Contact brokers and manufacturers reps to request samples.
• Punch all sample orders if any are pulled from stock.
• Communicate constantly and clearly with sales, how and when samples will be arriving.
• Track requests and results on all samples.
• Update broker/manufacturer rep list of contacts as needed.

Manufacturer Coupon Tracking:

• Run tracking reports for customers eligible for manufacturer coupon rebates.
• Keep track of all manufacturer coupon programs including start and end dates.
• Contact brokers to verify stipulations on programs and tracking.
• This applies only to manufacture coupons and LTO rebates. Any other requests from brokers or sales reps need to be directed to specified individuals.

Training:

• Assist with training PowerSell to new hires.

Miscellaneous:

• Manage incoming calls and customer service inquires to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve Customer issues and complaints.
• Vacation Coverage.
